GUILD OF BUILDERS AND CONTRACTORS
Raising Standards.
Representing Builders.
Advancing Construction.
A professional membership organisation representing experienced builders and contractors, promoting integrity, expertise, and best practice across the construction industry.
The Guild of Builders and Contractors was formed in 1992 by 14 builders. Their aim was to create a Guild consisting of reputable firms and individuals actively involved in the building industry who were experienced, knowledgeable and traded with integrity.
The membership category “Trusted Member” was introduced in 2015. Trusted Membership is open to builders, specialist contractors and construction consultants who can satisfy the higher standards required. These standards include more vigorous financial and credit checks, a comprehensive level of insurance cover and additional customer references. Membership is not granted indefinitely. Continued membership depends upon maintaining high standards of work and service.
